Andrei Javier is a physician and clinical consultant with Mercer. In this role, Andrei supports clients as they navigate healthcare issues and as a clinical strategy resource. Andrei’s interests include increasing access to health care, chronic disease management, health policy analysis, and developing new market solutions to help organizations improve and manage the health of their employees.
Prior to joining Mercer, Andrei worked at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and as a health policy analyst and advisor for the Senate Finance Committee and the California State Legislature to develop and analyze innovative solutions to health system problems. Andrei earned her undergraduate degree in behavioral neuroscience from Yale University and an M.D. from Meharry Medical College. She has studied health policy at the University of Copenhagen and was a visiting research fellow at the University of Bologna. She was awarded the 2017 Nashville Emerging Leader Award in Medicine and Health Care Services by the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce.
