MY WHY
For me, fitness is what motivates me for the rest of my day. If I have a good workout, I know I'll have a good attitude and likely skip the heart cloggers for something slightly healthier. It's also just plain fun and more dynamic than trudging through a treadmill workout. 

HOMETOWn/favorite city
Seattle. My hometown is my favorite city. If you fly the Alaska Air direct flight you'll likely see me heading home a couple times a month. 

MY PLAYLISTS SOUND LIKE
The thoughts in my head: funky and erratic, yet somehow it all makes sense. I like to use every type of music, just nothing at the extremes. So no bubble gum pop, death metal, twang...well you get the point. 

FAVORITE LOCAL HANGS
Shelby Bottoms greenway, Mas Tacos Cantina, and any beer hall.

When I was at Stanford I got introduced to an incredible and new lifelong sport: triathlons. Since I was a kid, I swam and ran competitively. All I had to do was add in the cycling. Now, I've completed my first full ironman (140.6 miles to be exact). In my day to day, cycling classes are my favorite way to stay in shape and tuned up when I'm not in race mode.
