First Ride

The Studio
our studio is located in the FARROW AT FIVE POINTS in east nashville: 1008 RUSSELL StREET, nashville, TN 37206, between 10th and 11th. 

Before You Arrive
Hydrate - Drink lots of water before, during, and after your ride. please bring a water bottle or you can buy a bottle of water from us for $3. we have a bottle filler/water fountain so you can replenish!

eat something - don't ride on an empty stomach! we suggest a meal a few hours before your ride, or a light snack up to 30 minutes prior to class time.

What to Wear - we suggest wearing fitted workout pants or shorts and a lightweight, breathable top. We provide sweat towels! 

ARRIVE EARLY
please arrive at least 15 miNutes before class so you have time to check in, get shoes, and get your bike set up without being rushed. if you arrive later than 5 minutes before class time, we can't continue to hold your bike. first time riders must check in at least 5 minutes prior to class time or we cannot permit you to ride. this is so that we can assure you're properly set up on your bike before class time.

THE RIDE
Check in - YOU WILL CHECK IN at the front desk when you arrive. Our Pack Leaders will help you set up your bike and answer any questions you have. If you are not checked-in 5 minutes prior to class, we can not guarantee that we will hold your bike, as many classes have a wait list.

You can rent shoes from us for $2 or bring your own cycling shoes that are SPD compatible.

Other Things to Know
LOCKER ROOMS - OUR LOCKER ROOMS FEATURE SHOWERS, SHAMPOO, CONDITIONER, BODY WASH, TOWELS, HAIR DRYERS, DRY SHAMPOO, AND SPRAY DEODORANT.  

Bike Set-Up - Our Pack Leaders will help you get set up on YOUR bike. There are three parts to getting set up properly: your seat height (based on your height), your handlebar height (comfort preference), and the distance between your seat and handlebars (comfort preference). 

Ride Safety - Take a moment before your ride to check in with your bike and your body. Let a Pack Leader know if you have any questions or concerns. Things to check: Make sure all the bike adjustment knobs are tight and your shoes are securely clipped in. Throughout your ride, listen to your body! Drink water and participate at a level that is safe and right for you.
